I asked a question on the Yahoo sites about cheap and easy ways to advertise a new site. None of the answers really provided any new or different ideas. A couple pointed me at browse for clicks type sites (with their own affiliate id in the link) and most of the others said Google Adwords, which I don't consider very cheap. One of the others suggested MySpace or similar 'social sites' which I suppose is blogging by any other name. I guess I shouldn't have really expected anything innovative, but itwas an idea. If I ask again I will include the web address and ask peoples opinions of the site. At least I'd get visitors. LOL.
